Focus on Bulthaup

Kitchens have evolved dramatically over the years going from pieces of freestanding furniture akin to dresser units which stored the essentials to cutting edge contemporary. Like fashion, the trends do come around full circle so when something that is truly new and innovative comes along it can’t help but excite.
One product that fills this description and sits firmly at the forefront of design is Bulthaup. Hailing from the kitchen capital of the world, Germany, this architecturally advanced product is custom built and caters for the cooking enthusiast as well as the design conscious.
With Bulthaup the beauty is in the detail with functionality always in mind. 10mm tops available in Composite Stone, Steel or Laminate for work surfaces. ‘Function’ boxes, concealed wall storage providing compartments for chopping boards, spices and storage of the messy kitchen essentials like cloths and cleaning materials which are operated with a touch mechanism. Beautifully finished internals in timber with aluminium trim for cutlery, kitchen foil and utensils.
The b3 system launched in 2004 made waves with a multifunction wall panelling system allowing wall, tall and base cabinetry to be suspended as if in mid air. This allowed details such as matching splash backs, lights, shelves and accessories such as cookery book holders, herb pots and knife blocks to be integrated without effort.
A range of co-ordinating elements such as sinks, taps and extraction are all available from Bulthaup to compliment the range.
