Objects Of Desire
by Athole Murray Fleming
Using pieces of art as finishing touches to any room add a feeling of quality and even, dare I say it, a little touch of class.
Beautiful things are lovely to own, we all want to be surrounded by beautiful things, this is human nature after all. So with a certain season happening as we speak, I thought it would be a good idea to look for inspirational pieces that would make great gifts for family and friends and yourself of course!
So I decided to pop down to Princes Street in Perth to ARTISANAT Contemporary Art & Craft Gallery.
Run by David Bonnar ARTISANAT is always a delight for the eye, with so many unique creations on display to tempt anyone who ventures inside. There is always a constantly changing selection of jewellery, wood, glass, ceramics, metalwork and textiles as well as paintings and wall hangings….’something for everyone’ is a phrase that comes to mind!
